"this is not your average place to stay. Off the beaten track at the top of a very old village. Once booked in time to take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery and the house dog and cat. This is a rustic house so don't expect perfection and enjoy the experience. The host cooked a delicious 3 course dinner for us with wine costing 20 euros each and there was a fully stocked bar charged at very reasonable rates. "A beautiful property situated on the shore of a pond in the center of town. The villa is beautifully restored, and the adjacent restaurant has terrific views. The rooms are located in a nearby building. The rooms are modern and snazzy, perhaps a bit too much. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom large, but it was difficult, nearly impossible, to close and open the sliding door to the bathroom. By no means a show-stopper, but a bit more thought should have been put into designing the bathroom...
