"We chose this central location to do day trips to historical sites ( Alcobaça, Bathala & Tomar) and ocean area (Nazaré). It was not difficult to navigate our way in and out of town on the roads. We spent time walking Leiria and visiting the castle. As property is fairly close to stadium, pay attention to parking if there an event. The property worked out great and the host very easy to communicate with."

"This was a magical stay. One of the closest homes to the castle. This unit had the most comfortable beds. Outdoor space is plenty with amazing views. Parking is attached and included, made unloading so easy. We felt like the only visitors, but had a few dining options. Definitely try the tapas place right next door and the Ginjinha bar was great for desert and drinks. My family can’t say enough good things about this stay."

"I considered object as a house, but it was an appartment only (my mistake). the location was in the city and it was not mentioned that a busy road is passing the house. So sitting or dining in the garden was not possible due to traffic noise (especially during rush hour). Appartment doesn't have a dish washer. Check in procedure was unpersonal. "What a wonderful surprise. A charming complete confortable house with every amenity imagineable. The house is located in a rural setting, in a quiet neighborhood, with scenic views and is less then 15 minutes away from Tomar. Tomar has plenty of history to explore and lot's of great restaurants. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The bathrooms modern. Extra large towels. Nothing was lacking to make our stay memorable. For sure we will return. "I paid for six nights. When my plans changed I contacted the owner about 2 weeks in advance. He would not offer a refund. I finally reached Fatima in time for the last night I had reserved. I checked in but immediately had a strong allergic reaction to something in the house. I left after about 15 minutes and relocated to a hotel."
