The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. The owner is super-friendly and was reachable throughout our stay. The cottage is well-equipped and quickly feels like home. The fireplace cannot be beat on a chilly fall evening and easily made up for the lack of a TV. Cell coverage was good for us throughout our stay. A couple of things to note in the description: There are two bathrooms but only the downstairs one has a shower. The laundry in the cottage is not for guest use, though laundry service is available. We would definitely come here again."
