"The room was modern and spotlessly clean, although compact; kettle, beverages, hairdryer and ironing board provided, along with a good supply of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. A slight downside was that the rear access (fire escape) and kitchen extractor system were right outside our window, so a bit noisy in the late evening and early morning. "Patrick and his wife were very welcoming, the property is dated but comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. The surrounding area is a short walk away, with some nice pubs, restaurants (with gluten free options), shops and a Tesco etc... The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been some comfy chairs or small sofa in the room as I personally struggle watching TV in bed, due to health issues, but other than that it was a pleasant stay."

" We really like our stay at the hotel but didn’t really like the kitchen area in the room and dining table. We didn’t really like that whilst laying in bed you could see the kitchen. Our room also overlooked a car park which isn’t the greatest view. In saying that, I would stay here again, but in a different layout room like our friend’s room, where the kitchen is in the entrance, not the main part of the room. The hotel staff were 10/10 and the hotel has a really nice, cool, stylish vibe."
