"The view of Asahikawa from the 8th floor was stunning. The room had a high ceiling, which made the space seem even larger than it was. The property itself was very clean and inviting, the staff were very friendly, and it was within walking distance from the Asahikawa train station, a handful of convenience stores (including the excellent Seicomart), and several ramen restaurants that ended up selling out twice during my 3 night stay. "Wonderful friendly lady runs this edge of town pension...so very welcoming....her smile tells you everything..comfortable room and surrounded by countryside so peaceful. ...I had 4 nights here and loved it."

"Hotel is old and dated. Room’s aircon is barely working. Hotel is located right opposite a big mall ( Aeon) and has restaurants, Food courts, supermarket. And JR is right there. There’s no parking at the hotel; public parking is across the street, with very few lots. "

"Walking distance from Asahikawa’s JR station. Located opposite AEON Mall. Breakfast was excellent! Taste delicious! They also have a good public basement Onsen for respective gender. You may want to get a bigger room if you are carrying 2 large luggages."

Asahikawa is a gorgeous city during the winter, and very walkable, and I can absolutely see myself staying at the Court Hotel here again the next time I visit the area. "
