"Rented this cottage to stay close to Charlottesville for a concert at John Paul Jones Arena. Saved us a ton on 3 hotel rooms, a long trip home and was comfy, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again in the future."

"We have stayed here on several occasions, and it never disappoints. The cabin is perfect for a quiet getaway, and we love the secluded location. It is very clean and has everything you need. Sarah is amazing. They were expecting inclement weather on our visit, and she was in constant communication with us throughout. It goes without saying that she genuinely wants your visit to be perfect. Can’t wait to go back!"

"The house was perfect for our extended family to celebrate Christmas together. It easily accommodated a wheelchair, had plenty of room for 10 of us, and was well stocked for our stay. We greatly appreciated all of Swami's thoughtful touches, from the welcome basket, the Christmas tree set up in the living room, and her quick response when we had an issue during our stay. Communication was excellent and we highly recommend this rental!"

"This is a beautful historic home in the heart of Virginia Wine Country. The home suited our needs perfectly and the management company was responsive and great to work with. A few things to know if you book: 1) although the primary suite has a bathroom, there's not a shower -- only a tub. 2) as soon as you arrive, check to be sure the hot water is working. We didn't have hot water. The management company was great to work with, but it took several hours to get the issue resolved. 3) all the beds were comfortable except one in the ground floor front bedroom. "

"Excellent location for our visit to Monticello and Charlottesville. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the foothills scenery - plus wildlife - was beautiful. The weather was a bit cool for the hot tub but the farm and pastures were exactly the respite for which we were planning. Our host, Steve, called to check in and offer recommendations. Great visit to Monticello, Jefferson Vineyards, the Highlands, Boars Head and Charlottesville."

"We were here for a wedding in a nearby town and were pleasantly surprised that "Walton's Mountain" was so close. The property met all of our needs, plenty of space, cleanliness and multiple bathrooms. Peaceful surroundings we never heard the goats but saw them every day. Great communication with the hosts, very detailed and everything was ready for us to have a great stay."
