"Viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr nette Gastgeber, die auch gerne Tips für Ausflüge und Gastronomie geben. Die Lage ist zentral in der Region und besonders für Fahrradfahrer ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Touren. Insgesamt ein sehr positiver Gesamteindruck. "

"Ce qui nous a fortement déplu : l'hôte, Mr Le Clerc, avec son accueil déplorable, son absence lors de notre départ... Dans un 1er temps, il a entièrement contesté nos reproches tout en nous traitant de menteurs et nous menaçant. Mais nous ne nous sommes pas laissé intimider, loin de là. Il a donc reconnu que son accueil avait été en dessous de la moyenne et nous a octroyé une remise de 50 euros sur notre séjour. "En arrivant à la gare de La Rochelle, nous avons appelé les propriétaires de la Maison en Ville, et ceux-ci n'avaient jamais reçu une réservation à notre nom et c'était complet!! Nous voilà bien et tous les hôtels à La Rochelle étaient complets à cause du Salon du Grand Pavois! Scandaleux!"

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
