"This is a lovely, comfortable house in a pretty, quiet street that is just moments away from the quayside. La Flotte is lovely and a great base for exploring the island. We have visited them all and La Flotte remains our favourite village. The light and space in the house means it is a real pleasure to stay there, even with several people, and the super wrap-around terrace and outside area make such a difference to the holiday. "Un gîte " comme à la maison". On s'y sent rapidement bien! La localisation, à 10min à pied des commerces et de la plage, est idéale pour des vacances sans voiture. La literie est de très bonne qualité ! On reviendra. Rien à redire "

"We had a wonderful two weeks in this beautiful holiday home - spacious, well equipped, peaceful and excellent location near the village and beach alike. Added bonus of a pool with plenty of room around it and space to park the car and bikes. It was a fabulous place to relax and refresh. We have been to La Flotte on numerous occasions and this is the best place we have stayed in. Owner very friendly and helpful from booking all through to departure."

"The property is excellently located and has sufficient space and amenities to cater for 8 people comfortably and 10 if you have younger children- not babies. The pool is immaculately well kept and a few things like the hedge positioning and outside shower and toilet for pool use make this a fantastic place to stay for your trip to Ile de Re! "Lovely newly renovated villa in a great location. It is very well equipped with one important omission. There is no provision for rubbish disposal. It seems that the expectation is for guests to place their rubbish in the private bins of a nearby campsite. It transpired that the campsite owners were not privy to this arrangement and we’re not best pleased when I tried to put my bag of rubbish in their bins. At the end of our stay, the agent tried to tell me that we had to take our rubbish away...

"We had a great stay at the villa. It is brand new and very high quality. The villa itself is very large with lots of room in the kitchen and living area. The outdoor area is great. A large pool with great outdoor seating areas (including a BBQ) as well as a petanque area and basketball area! The villa is very close to the beaches (only a short walk) and maybe a 5-10 minute drive to Les Portes-en-Re. "The hob didn’t work the lights outside around the table were not working, the pool was not maintained and we were not able to swim in it . As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! My daughter is visually impaired and fell down the steps because the lights were not working!! I contacted the manager on 10 different occasions and she did not get back to me . Please give me immediate...

"House is larger than it looks on the web page. Pool was wonderful and a great temperature. Lots of sun loungers etc in garage. Only downside was there were no fans and bedrooms are all very hot."

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
