"We were looking for a getaway location away from Taos along the Rio Grande Gorge. The Dobson House was perfect for our needs. Our bedroom suite was tucked away with good views, and the grand steps up to the living room, dining room, and kitchen led to incredible 270º views of the Gorge. The host provided detailed instructions on parking and getting the key from the lockbox- couldn’t have been more seamless. Pro tip- take the parking spot next to the casita so other cars wont pull in late at night!"

"It was very nice except for the powers outage that happened on Saturday morning in the middle of making breakfast couldn't really do a whole lot "

"Overall the house was very nice and roomy. It was in a very lovely location with the stream running behind it and convenient to town. The kitchen is a bit tight if there is more than one person trying to help out but not too bad. There are a few minor repairs needed (none of them dealbreakers for me) such as - the missing slat on the railing at the top of the stairs (which was the perfect size for our two year old to fit through and very dangerous), more trash bags available, more dishwasher...

"We came for a ski trip with our sons and their families. 15 total, plenty of space for our family. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Our only issue was the vehicles that didn’t have 4 wheel drive, it made it a little tricky getting up the snowy driveway but we made it after a few tries. "

"We stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas holiday. Beautiful historic home with local Taos authenticity that put us all in a GREAT mood! Even included a Christmas tree & holiday decorations. The 3 "large" bedrooms were very comfortable with great beds & bathroom areas. Lots of nice artwork, antiques, and color schemes in each room.
