"The swimming pools where very spacious and the rest of the compound was nicely laid out. The new addition isn't totally ready -- so looking forward to coming back in a couple of years to the gym and other new features."

"It was wonderful resort. Excellent breakfast! They offered tours that you can booked there and get pickup from resorts . We went to several and it was amazing! I recommend Astoria to everyone ❤️❤️❤️ we will be back "

"Staff here went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Could not walk past the staff without a friendly greeting, and a few words food options were good. Pool was clean. Private beach was an easy walk. You can also catch the sunrise in the morning, which was beautiful Room, good size clean and had everything I could want only downside they do not have an ATM on site and it is a little away from town to get to one lots of options to book to do different things. Unfortunately it was raining...

"We arrived rather late and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. When I surveyed the gym area it was obvious that the birds had been perching on the equipment. I informed the staff and they cleaned the equipment off so I could get a good workout. "

"This is an inexpensive hotel so amenities are limited but you do get what you paid for. The staff is very nice, they have a limited food menu but the items are well prepared. The view from the outside dining area is very nice. The rooms are basic but good, bed is comfortable, AC works very well, CR shower is comfortable, water is hot. One problem is the wifi is very weak in the room, but it is strong in the dinning area."

"The place looked run down and deserted. We left after 30 minutes and booked another accommodation down the road."

"My partner and I had a pretty unpleasant experience with this accommodation. A solid handful of the amenities listed in the description were nowhere to be found. The cleanliness was not up to par. The pool was unswimmable with its murky green waters. Their wifi only works within a close range of the front desk and all the rooms are quite far from it. There is also no access to any transportation except at exuberant rates. Very minimal food options all around and no kitchen access. If certain...

"Our family of five had the best experience at this resort: very welcoming staff especially during our check-in/out, lovely breakfast buffet with super nice staff, swimming pool was super clean, great ambiance in every area of the resort, beautiful landscaping, free airport shuttle made it easy and convenient to catch our flight. We’ll go back again!"

"We've been here before so we already knew that the rooms are worn, that there's no WiFi in the room (and in the public areas where there is - it's poor), that the grounds need more attention, and that the public restrooms near the sports desk are disgusting. The boats are also awful, with uncomfortable plastic benches. We returned anyway because the view is spectacular, the pools are fantastic, and the food at the restaurant is OK and reasonably-priced. Having no other such island resort option...
