"We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. We also had a private sauna in the beach house we stayed in - this was an amazing surprise (should be called out in the room's details!). In terms of location, both Sommaroy island and the hotel are great - to enjoy the scenery and to hunt for the northern lights. The only suggestion we would have is to maybe install dimmer street / outside building lights if possible - I imagine a lot of people visit for the northern lights, which are more difficult to see due to light pollution (especially when external building lights are accidentally left turned on)."

We were a little disappointed it was so far from the City center, but once we figured out the transportation system, it was quite easy to get around. The ladies in reception were lovely, and extremely helpful and informative. The igloo exceeded all of our expectations. After reading a number of reviews with negatives, I have to say I couldn’t possibly disagree more. It’s enchanting. The workers are friendly. The food was fantastic. The igloo clean and so unique!! "Fint och modernt hotell. Väldigt sköna sängar och älskar att flera kuddar erbjuds, samt i olika storlekar. God frukost men inte överdådig men allt som jag önskade i frukostväg fanns på plats. Enda negativa (och detta var säkert en miss från städet): Det fanns kvar öppnade snacks och gammal dipp i minibaren från tidigare gäst samt att det hade väldigt hjälpsamt om det hade funnits ett skohorn tillgängligt på rummet.
