"We loved being right on the lake with a beautiful view and comfy livingroom. The beds, sheets and pillows, as well as the sofa, were very cozy. This home offers plenty of aminities. However, we were extremely disappointed in the condition of the home. And we had an invasion of ants. The kitchen and other areas of the house are very outdated. The house is not very clean or decorated. The outside of the house is in poor condition and unkept. The windows were so dirty that we could not enjoy the...

"There are so many amenities in the home, even books to read! We prepared our meals, played games, walked the historic road behind the house, etc. There is even a fire pit outside in the huge yard! It was a great little vacation from home! We loved it!"

"Everything was great with the property. Easy check-in and quick communication with owner. The living area, kitchen, and bedrooms were very spacious for our party of 3 adults and 2 small dogs. The single bathroom is large and has two sinks w/ mirrors. The pond with gazebo is a nice touch. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and walking the dogs around the pond."

"If you want peace and quiet then you need to go here. This place is fully equipped like your own home. As far as clean, you can bring you white glove aunt and won’t find anything. The fresh yard eggs were an added bonus and we ate the all.Thank you Steve and Lori "

"From the well equipped kitchen to the beautiful wood floors along with the antique furnished Settings, the home was absolutely delightful. The yard was very large for our three-year-old granddaughter to play in. The location was absolutely idea and easily within walking distance to restaurants, the mall and many other things."

"This was definitely a 5-star stay! We loved everything about Oak Arbor...we enjoyed the beauty of the property, very clean facilities, interacting with the horses, the game room, the fire pit & s'mores and of course, our wonderful hosts, Judy and Steve. Our next stay will be longer. Highly recommend!"

"These grounds are BEAUTIFUL, so peaceful, relaxing, the gardens were so well kept, like a story book! The history is amazing! We had 10 people stay for my daughter’s SFA graduation and they all want to return, because it was such a wonderful place to stay, so relaxing and peaceful. (It was about 15 minutes south of Lufkin and about 25 more minutes to Nacogdoches, but we’ll worth the drive! We will be back♥️. Great coffee bars, teas, salt and pepper, dish soap, dish washer soap, everything...

"Wonderful Piney Wood Trails for our horses over 54 miles right out the door and Very Cozy Clean Cabin 3 bedroom and 2 baths with Nice kitchen and relaxing living room. Games and our own Hot tub!! Nice barn and stalls. What a great place to relax and enjoy."
