"Very secluded location. Villa worked well for us as a party of 16 as it is laid out as 4 separate apartments. Villa owner very helpful and allowed us to set up a communal kitchen. During our stay the owner responded promptly to any request e.g. repair of basketball hoop for the kids! Plenty of supermarkets in nearby Perama. Good beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. Would recommend at least a day in Rethymno - water sports and Old Town."

"A beautiful villa in a great location. We were able to walk to the local village in less than 10 minutes which has great places to eat and a well stocked, small shop. Lovely view to the hills and sea with an easy drive to the nearest beach in 5 minutes. The villa is well maintained and really comfortable with a lovely outside area with large table and chairs for eating, plus great sunbeds and a plenty of shade. "We had a wonderful stay here and loved it. The house is in the mountains (about 20 min drive to the north coast). We enjoyed the perfect silence when having a rest in front of the house (amazing view, refreshing pool). The service is absolutely superb - whenever you need something there is an immediate reaction. "Pool and surroundings were excellent and the host was very nice and helpful. However the interior was very disappointing particularly the very narrow spiral staircase that 2 75 year olds had to climb up to sleep and my wife had a broken leg and still on crutches!!! We were never told about the stairs and there was nothing on the site indicating that was the situation. Also the beds were very uncomfortable and far too hard and gave us bad backs.the kitchen needs a few more accompaniments as well....
