"Since we live in San Diego we often visit Borrego Springs since it is only 1.30 hours away. It is a wonderful place to visit, especially during the winter months when the weather is just right for hiking. We always stay at Palm Canyon Hotel as it is centrally located and offers an interesting kind of wild west motif. It is a "no fuss" hotel offering good sized, clean hotel rooms with a small refrigerator and coffee machine. It is a quiet, relaxing place. The pool is an extra bonus, very clean...

"We had the most Amazing time at Hicksville!! Went with a large group and we loved the rooms, the facilities, the breakfast -- everything! The only thing that concerned me was the rickety stairs leading up to the 2nd story rooms. Would be nice if they fixed those, they felt a bit dangerous. But otherwise everything was fantastic. The Innkeepers were so friendly and helpful, the Rec room was fun, and the views were gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend! "
