"Our extended family stayed here for our summer vacation. There was plenty of space both inside and out and everything we needed was there. The owner was very easy to communicate with and we loved being on the farm. The kids enjoyed seeing the animal and swimming in the pool. The adults enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and hanging by the fire pit. It was very safe for our children as well as it is off a quiet street with very few cars. It is clear the owner loves this house and farm! Recommend!"

"My wife and I were in town for a family gathering and spent three nights at Blue Bear Inn. The building is very quaint and homey, but has all of the amenities you need to provide a very comfortable stay. The location is very pretty with nice views. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices and the bartender knows his business well. All in all we enjoyed our experience and will definitely stay there again when return, "

"The lodge and grounds are pleasant, inviting, and well-maintained, and the setting is beautiful. The lodge itself is also nicely renovated. My wife and I, and two other couples, enjoyed a delightful long weekend away and look forward to enjoying Black Bear Lodge again in the future."
