"Decided to stay here vs Cinque Terre and was happy with the decision. Located right by train station. Room was pretty cramped with family of 4 and could easily hear neighboring rooms. Room was clean, AC was a little weak though so was a bit warm at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would probably give a 9 if I could given the value compared to neighboring towns. Despite some people reporting that La Spezia didn't seem safe I never got that impression and was travelling with 2 kids....

"The place was simple and cute, we didn’t get the place that was advertised, and it was on the dark side of the building, but the 4 of us were comfortable. There were cobwebs on the high ceiling, the sink was cracked, soap dish was broken, but all in all the Mie Stelle is way better than a chain hotel, we really felt at home."

"This was our best hotel during our Europe adventure. The WiFi was great, Patrizia shared wonderful information about the area at check in, there was a mini frig and great AC. They even provided wash cloths, something you can never find in Europe! Highly recommend. "
