"Hotel is at a good location if you have business in the NW part of Shanghai, or Disney; it's only a 5-minute walk from the metro station and also close to the Anting-North train station. The rooms are big and clean, room service is excellent and the food is top quality. The basement has a nice gym with lots of equipment but smells a bit musty, maybe because this summer has been hot & humid. "A very nice hotel, newer with comfortable rooms. It has a nice pool that you do not need to pay extra for and the breakfast dining arra is very pleasant. There was a young man in the concierge who was very helpful. The locatuon is ok. It is quiet but there is nothing right outside. However, it is still convenient to get to place in the vicinity. "

"I stayed at the hotel for 5 days, to begin with, I asked for a non-smoking room and I had to be transferred on day two to another one because the people above me were smoking and the smoke came into my room. The entire staff speaks very poor English and it is truly hard to communicate with them. Although I encountered the above issues, the quality of the food was excellent, and the chef's staff was truly cordial and knowledgable. "

"The hotel was in a very nice location away from the busy city. Everyone that i dealt with were wonderful to me and helped me when needed and I really needed help during this stay!!! "Amazing hotel!!! The staff really made it great especially the lady that was cleaning my room. I rated it 3 stars for the area around the property because I feel like the location would be better as it was a bit far from everything, the Mixc mall kind of made up for it but personally I would have liked it better if it was closer to central, or on the other side near the Shanghai Towers. I liked how there was privacy and it was not a busy hotel "

"Excellent location to be based at if doing a short Shanghai trip. It is linked directly to a small mall with retail and food. MRT station is just across the street. And the location is right at the west entrance of East Nanjing pedestrian street , so you get the convenience of all the shops and food that comes with it. The room we got was super impressive and by far this was the best quality room we got on our Shanghai trip. Voice activated curtains, lights and music (though you'd need to speak mandarin to make it work), also buttons available. Toilet and bath was very good and there was an electrical bidet! We got the west view with our high-floor room. Try to get the east view of Bund view if possible."

"Great overall hotel, typical of the Shangri-La standard. It is right next to Lujiazui an intersection MRT station for Line 2 and 14 which makes it very easy to get to all the major central Shanghai tourist spots. There is a high-end mall, across the street which sites the Ritz, a lifestyle mall in the same side of the street which has great food upstairs and the usual shopping outlets and a Disney store standalone outlet just further down the street. Overall a very comfortable stay. Only comments would be that the curtains appear a bit dated, some parts of the curtain don't really cover the entire window. Having bidets would be a big plus, some parts of the toilet are showing their age but still in good quality. Wouldn't recommend the buffet breakfast unless it happens to be included in your package. We feel it's overpriced for the array of selections and quality but we have high-standards for food so it may be to your fancy if you have a chance. Staff are tip-top. Service is impeccable."
