"The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Bergamo and has a lot of cafes.and bars near by. But the fsct that you have no receptionist, except on the phone, means if you have any problems or issues you can't get them sorted. Check in is do e through an email link and yiu then get codes.to access both the main entrance and your room, I personally wiuld classmit more.as an Air B&B than a hotel. But the room was spotlessly clean, as.werw the stairways.and hall areas, and very comfortable."

"Good enough accommodation when you can find it and finally get into the building. Follow the check in details closely to ensure you pay and that allows the main door to open - no check-in staff available."

"Property pictures was not the actual photos of the hotel. Rooms were above a bar on a noisy street. Bedroom didn’t have darking curtain's only a sheers which didn’t block the morning light. Bathroom sink was plugged with hair. Room was cheap and convenient to University and bus route downtown. "

"What a gem!! Bergamo was a half-hearted, 1-day visit we added to our trip since we were flying into Milan in the evening & yet we were SO pleasantly surprised! The old town, which is walking distance from La Valleta, is beautiful with a nice handful of shops & restaurants. La Valleta is a lovely hillside Villa with a small handful of rooms & very nice & kind proprietors. But what really stands out is their breakfast! It has the usual staples (fruit, yogurt, cheese, meats, cakes) but they offer...

"Not as advertised. Phoned to arrange check in but no one spoke English. Finally got a customer to translate who advised to come at 5 to check in (half an hour later than advertised). When we arrived the bar and restaurant were closed. Only one member of staff there who could not speak English which was advertised on the site. The room was very basic with outdated decor. There were no views of the lake from the hotel as shown in the pictures. Breakfast was advertised from 7-10am. When we went...

"We stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Full of character, warm and cosy on chilly weekend in March. The staff were friendly and helpful and were made to feel very welcome especially by Massimo on our arrival which was quite late evening. The small town of Calolziocorte is very pleasant and the location of the hotel by the river is lovely. "Fabio was extremely discrete and helpful to us during our stay. He made life easy with a detailed "instruction manual" that explained everything we needed to know to about the house, from check-in to check-out. The location is fantastic and the private parking spot is super handy. We spent many evenings on the pier just staring at the lake.
