"It was our first time in Anna Marie Island. We were unsure how it was going to be so soon after the hurricane. They have done an amazing job putting Anna Maria Island back together. We wanted to do our part by supporting local businesses during our stay. Our stay at Pelican Post was in a great area very close to shopping and restaurants. It was a block from the beach. We stayed in a 2 queen room. It had plenty of room with a large bathroom with walk-in shower. The pool area was very clean and inviting. There was even a small yard area with seating and cornhole set. A WI vs OH tournament took place. Met a lot of great friendly people along the way. We will definitely return to Anna Marie Island and would stay at Pelican Post again. "

"Great location. Clean. Easy to access beach. Nice pool. Only complaint I would have is there are only standing showers. Needed a bath for my 3 yr old. Not sure if that was advertised or not, and it wasn’t a reason to give anything less than 5 stars. "
