The apartment had all the facilities, e.g. washing machine, strong WiFi, etc. except microwave which expects. There were many restaurants, cafes and small provision shops nearby, even a taxi stand. Ataturk Boulevard and Kizilay station are a 15-20 minute walk.
However, during our stay hot water was a recurring problem. The water heater kept switching off and we had to keep restarting the heater to resume hot water. It was inconvenient.
We stayed six nights. On arrival i checked with staff about cleaning. I was informed every three days. The apartment was not cleaned even once during our stay. It was disappointing.
The apartment had a problem with insects. On our second day we showed the housekeeper (visiting to check water heater) an ant / insect infestation in the bedroom. No action was taken and she seemed not overly concerned.
The insect problem in the apartment was exacerbated by a garden outside. Lots - I don't mean one or two but lots - of insects somehow managed to come inside even if windows and doors were kept shut. Additionally, the glass of one kitchen window was cracked.
Though I communicated with property manager by WhatsApp, communication was erratic and punctuated with delays and disappearances. It didn't help that manager spoke little or no English so voice conversations (I tried) were impossible. Having stayed at many similar serviced apartments I found the host unresponsive verging on rude.
Overall, an unpleasant experience.
