Charming hotel

This is a charming hotel. We stayed in the suit room as a family, it was spacious and comfortable. We had a plate of fruit left by the hotel manager, which was a lovely touch. Perhaps the hotel is getting a little old at places, but that didn’t bother us. We normally stay at more modern hotels and we really like the old fashioned charm of this hotel. The rooms have balconies with a stunning view of the Anitkabir, the key monument in the city. Central location, easy to get to on the metro.

Good location and helpful staff. Breakfast choice was very good. Our room was fairly hot and it was not possible to keep the windows open as it was noisy at night with traffic as the hotel is on a busy road.

Comfortable Hotel with proffessional staff

I stayed for around 6 days at Ickale Hotel and I can only share my positive feedbacks about that hotel.First of all the staff, personal were too friendly and responsive to my needs.They offered water and fruits for free during my stay. The breakfast at hotel is really good. The location is in the center and close to anywhere to get in Ankara.

95% of staff very good, professional, and friendly, especially in restaurant for breakfast, cleaning crews, front door staff, security people, and front desk. There were some businesses in the neighborhood inappropriate for a family oriented hotel, but staff were very supportive about that subject, and hotel existed there way before those other businesses came to neighborhood. I also did not like the fact that management did not let us to leave earlier when our job was done. We had to pay for two weeks of reservation in advance, but when we were finished with our affairs, they did not want to pay back if we left earlier. Location was very good, just ten minutes walk to the center of everything. Overall it was not a bad experience. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay at the Ickale Hotel. We have to spend a lot of time in Ankara for a visa purpose. We decided to extend our stay and stay at this place. We love the breakfast here compared to the other place that we stayed before. The hotel is beautiful. We like the decorations and the antique style of this hotel. The personnel is friendly and helpful. If we ever come back again to Ankara, we would definitely stay at Ickale hotel again. We highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at hotel Ickale for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay . We were able to plan our trip and Serken was very helpful throughout. The room was good size and had double balcony and jacuzzi. The staffs were friendly The only minor Critisism would be the room safe was not working and at breakfast they weren’t able to provide hot milk Overall had a pleasant stay

Friendly staff and good breakfast, room was disappointing, had strong chemical cleaner smell and everything looked and felt cheap. AC was noisy and the shower water pressure and heat did not work well.

Te Hotel is based in a area where everything is in easy reach by walking, taxi, buses. The property is beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The room we had was very comfortable and clean too but there was only one downfall there was a damp smell coming from the bathroom which was very strong at times. We did mention this situation to the staff but we were only staying for the one night and no other rooms were available due to celebrations of Republic Day in Turkey.

My family had a pleasant stay in Ickale hotel. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The personnel is really helpful and understanding. We could leave the car next to the hotel entrance and the personnel was parking it behind the building in the private space. We also got packed breakfast as we left the hotel really early in the morning. Everything was really clean. We also enjoyed the small pool. The only thing which could be improved is bigger diversity of breakfast food, specially for guests staying longer in the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Ickale Hotel. The stuff is very nice and helpful. Miraç and girls at the reception help us a lot during our stay. The breakfast is very nice. I love the atmosphere in this place and very beautiful antique style of the hotel . We have experience with other hotels in Ankara because we have to stay for almost 3 weeks for a visa purpose. We decided to extend our stay at this hotel. This hotel is located close to the public transportation. I would highly recommend the Ickale hotel for everyone. The price for what you get is very nice compared to other hotels in the area. I would definitely come back to Ickale Hotel again. Thank you for nice experience!

I liked this charming, old hotel. Although it is located on a very busy street in a not great neighborhood I was able to rest and enjoy my stay in my roomy, comfortable room. It had little nuances which I liked for instance, the shower has a raised edge which prevents water from going on to the bathroom floor. I especially appreciated that the staff adhered to the Do Not Disturb sign on my door and left me alone for my 2 night stay so I could catch up on my severe lack of sleep. I would have liked to use the spa/pool/tiny gym more but it didn’t open until 11am and closed at 10pm.

Beautiful hotel with a great service 😊

Ive had a very lovely stay...i came back and stayed again for a week! I was made to feel very welcome. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service" It was really nice hearing the piano played in the lobby too ...very relaxing ! Sibel at reception was very helpful always with a beautiful smile 😊 She changed me to a lovley room with a great view and helped with all my bookings. Her front desk management is very good 👌 Ive stayed in a few different rooms ...all were very clean and comfortable. The pillows were really nice and thd beds are very comfortable too! Mihrac from guest relations is excellent at her job ,making guests feel very comfortable and seeing to all there needs. Mihrac upgraded me to a suite with a jacuzzi bath for my last two nights making my stay a very memorable one. I enjoyed a swim in the heated pool and had a few lovely massages. All staff have been great ! Im leaving today feeling well rested and very happy with the service. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. Many thanks from me... to you all at Içkale hotel 😊
