"Our family met up with 3 other families to share the Chateau for a week. It was a fabulous way to spend time together and explore the Loire Valley. William and Susy made our stay easy and fun by recommending local activities and coordinating two evenings of catered meals. I highly recommend this property. It’s a idyllic property and has several on-site activities. We utilized the pool almost every day with the kids."

"DO NOT book this hotel. Made my reservation well in advance and when I had travelled 12 hours to get to this hotel for what I thought was going to be a romantic weekend the hotel was completely shut and gated up. The drive up to the hotel was also really sketchy. It's next to a hospital and kids sporting grounds covered in graffiti and rubbish. Do not be deceived by the photos. The grounds are awful and the owner obviously doesn't care about the customers. Appalling service. Please please...

"Hired the chateau with 30 friends who have not seen each other in a long time. This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at; I honestly never thought I'd stay somewhere as grand. The communication was great and the photos don't do it justice. All the rooms are ensuite and there's a lot of social space for everyone. The hardest bit was getting everyone together in one place! Thank you for a lovely stay :)"

"Such an atmospheric property, filled with echoes of its colourful past. This is not a hotel-like palace but rather a grande-dame of a chateau with all the attendant wrinkles and wear that actually feels like it's been lived in by real families for centuries. "My partner and I stayed overnight at this location during a bicycle tour through the Loire Valley. This property was very memorable. Our room had a hot tub which was a huge asset at the end of our day. The host was very accommodating, she even cooked us dinner. The food and wine offered on site were great, and the local wildlife (Leon the peacock) was a great source of entertainment at breakfast. I would definitely recommend this property, and I hope to someday go back."

"Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view.
