"Aged between 11 and 80 and celebrating two 80th birthdays this year. From outside the accommodation is impressive. We all enjoyed the gardens and the lake. Plenty of room for activities and for relaxation. We were sorry that the sun had gone from the outside table by late afternoon as it was a great place to gather early evening. "On arrival we couldn't have been more impressed! Totally stunning. Beautiful and imposing with lots of trees and outdoor space. "This is a really lovely, if very quiet place to stay. Many of the restaurants in the region closed in the pandemic so be prepared to cook! Some things in the apartment don't work quite right and the hosts are not very forthcoming with help- but equally they are not intrusive and none of the little problems spoiled our stay."
