"the bed was a sofa bed although the mattress was ok every time we moved it made load squeaking noise the large entrance gates were attached to our outside wall so every time they were used it felt like the wall was moving and a very loud banging noise some gest returned after midnight some left early about 6 Am the location we good, only a short walk to the restaurants, and near the steps to the chateaux there was free parking in the street"

"We had a very relaxing 3 weeks' vacation. The apartment was fantastic. We had everything we needed. Gilles was always available and attentive to our needs. The apartment is beautiful and the views are fantastic. We loved Saumur and also took day trips to area castles and other sites. We ate at great restaurants in Saumur and loved shopping at the Saturday market. We would certainly go back!"

"Angers est une belle destination. Absence de notices surtout pour les tv et absence d'accueil que ce soit au tel ou en présentiel. Les volets des chambres ne dont pas occultants donc gênants. Bon séjour quand même."

"This apartment is ideal in terms of location, cleanliness, and overall taste. Convenient parking nearby. Check-in initially was tricky as we don't speak French, but Google translate helped! The property manager/owner was very nice and helpful."

VRBO needs to address their ability to modify your reservation if plans change, or in my case, double book stays in different cities. That said, she was also accommodating in letting two of my colleagues also stay (which is offered in the description, yet the link on VRBO's app does not work). "Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view.
