"Valle Escondido is a beautiful eco friendly hotel with delicious farm to table food. Property is beautiful with hiking trails to views of waterfalls. Great place for families and nature lovers alike. We took a night tour and saw amazing things with our lost knowledgeable guide! Had a great time! "

"Monteverdi Country Lodge was very nice stop on our first trip to Costa Rica. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and kind, and that alone made the stay 5 stars in my book. The room was clean and comfortable. My only small complaint were a slight lack of electrical sockets in our room. We made do, but given how dependent we all are on our devices, a few more would have been nice. Also, the location is set back from the main road, so the location would not really be considered walkable to anything but local restaurants. That being said we had a car for the daytime, and the lovely staff called us taxis in the evening, problem solved. The property itself is lovely for sitting outside for drinks or a meal, and again, the staff are top notch!"

"Sibu Lodge is absolutely beautiful. The grounds and common areas are well-kept, and the room was lovely. There was a small fridge and we received a complimentary half-bottle of wine. We had happy hour drinks and food at the restaurant, and a lovely breakfast was provided. The town was about a 10-minute walk, so accessible, but the return trip to the hotel was very steep. The staff at the hotel set up our reservations for a zip line tour and a coffee farm tour, and we were able to include transportation for both activities. This is a lovely hotel, and I highly recommend it."

"Amazing place to stay. I was in Costa Rica for a month and stayed several places, this one by far was the cleanest of them all. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms spacious and stunning. Wildlife all around, the views and the food are also wonderful. I would love to come back and was sad I only got to stay 2 nights here. would recommend to anyone. 5 stars all around."
