Beginning with "Greg" (best we Texans could do pronouncing this nice young man's name) who greeted us and parked our van and got us dinner reservations in the on-site Restautant and escorted us to our lovely rooms. We felt like we were in an ancient chateau with all of the modern comforts. I guess we were! Walking distance to everything in the charming town of Amboise. Our group of five declared this our favorite place is a two-week French road trip. We would all go back...

"The hotel is in an old house. If you like quaint, this is it. It is in a good location to walk to Clos Luce and the Chateau d'Amboise, and the city center. It also has ample parking. Good choice for Amboise. "

The hotel is an easy walk to the Château, the river, shops, and dining. Nearby local restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back. Highly recommended. "

"We had a comfort room with castle view and it was breathtaking, it was spacious and bright. However, the hotel desperately needs refurbishment, we had loose tiles in the bathroom here and there and the whole vibe is shabby."
