"I stayed in Anchorage as my launch point to Denali and Seward/Kenai Fjords. It was good to be able to extend my stay and book the female dorm last minute in the days in between my trips. The manager, John, splits his time between the midtown location and downtown, and I found he was the most helpful in booking my transportation and the Kenai Fjords cruise. Overall staff were friendly and keep the place tidy despite how many ppl were staying there. It is a budget hostel and nothing fancy here....

"gem. It was really well priced, clean, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the staff was incredibly kind. The restaurant attached was a huge perk! The food, service and environmemt were really wonderful and inviting. Being right on Lake hood with an excellent view of the mountains, was also a huge perk. Will stay again."
