From the tour of the home when we arrived, the incredible homemade sourdough rolls that I could’ve never made myself, the thoughtfulness of a welcome letter and local coffee shop gift card - there are not enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was. This was our first VRBO experience, though we’ve booked a lot of other rental properties around Alaska, and never have we encountered such kind homeowners. "The property was close to many amenities(good restaurants, coffee shop) a short walk away but the property itself was in a fairly run down part of town. I think a new coat of paint and some deep cleaning on the heating unit would really freshen the place up. There was a nice supply of kitchen essentials and the best quality paper towel and toilet paper. It was a very good price for what it was but we didn't love it."

"We are Alaskan residents that never stop working. This was a much needed retreat. This cozy cottage has all amenities available, even an electric skillet which i needed to make breakfast. This is a peaceful, clean, and comfortable place. The hot tub was clean and refreshing with the chilly air. We will definitely return! Hosts were very helpful. "
