"Loved the consistent mid-century decor, very nostalgic. Get what you pay for, clean facilities, nice atmosphere, friendly hosts. Would've liked the twin beds next to eachother as I had no option for a double, but it's what we booked so no real complaint! Decent view out the back of the hills and churchyard. Pool table and communal area was lovely and well looked after. Short walk to highstreets and pubs, not too far walking from the train station. "

"What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome."

"I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. "

"Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x"

"We had a lovely 2 night stay. Superb location, easy to find, there is an excellent pub 5 minutes walk away with great food. The room was clean with funky colours. A super comfortable bed and great en suit. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was awesome. We had a superb weekend on the Gower and left fully refreshed. We would highly recommend. "
