"This is an older hotel, once a Holiday Inn. Though it doesn’t have the glitz of newer ones, the views are superb, food excellent, staff friendly and helpful, and location very convenient to walking along the waterfront. Loved the buffets with authentic Panamanian food. Do wish the buffet labeled the items that weren’t gluten free however, as I can’t eat gluten. Couldn’t ask the staff because of the language barrier, so missed out on trying some items that I couldn’t be sure about. Also, would be good to include some literature in the rooms about the amenities and prices for spa treatments. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Panama City."

"The people were very helpful! Nice hotel. Amazing staff. My only complaint were the elevators. It's not the hotels fault but there's too many floors for just 2 elevators. They should have at least 4 elevators. Because of this, it takes a good 5 minutes to get into an elevator. "

"The Canal house is a good restaurant and bar... The TGIFridays has poor service although if they finally serve you the food is okay. I recommend the Canal House. The hotel is nice with easy access and quiet... I highly recommend the Hotel."
