"The atay was brillaint, communication with paul was excellent he replied quick to all messaged before and after booking. Booked it for my partners 30th birthday and was welcomed with 2 bottled of wine, the hut itself is beautiful although making into a double bed was a fart about as it blocked the toilets this wasnt a huge issue. "The owner kept in touch giving accurate and detailed instructions on entering and had even put the heating on for us so that it was warm for my epderly mother. In brief. It as spotlessley clean, well equipped perfect location and very comfortable beds. We couldnt have asked for more. Thank you Jacqui and Craigwarm when wd areived. "

The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Alongside the A1 but you would never know, so quiet. Convenient back road into Bamburgh and loveky view across farmland. Breakfast was excellent cereals, fruit juice, toast and jams. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, hash browns and choice of how your eggs cooked. Also ate in the restaurant and cafe both excellent. Room was clean, tea coffee and good shower. Stayed four nights, couldn't fault it. Staff really nice. "
