"We have stayed at many properties at different times but this was definitely the best. Huge house with great outdoor space and lovely pool. Rural but not too remote so there is stuff to do but the kids did not want to leave the pool! Francisca could not have been more helpful through the process. I can’t think of anything negative to say at all"

"This restored farmhouse is great. Fruit trees and garden paths and even goats to feed. The pool was a bonus. Off the beaten path but we’ll worth the effort. The manager was lovely and helpful and I would recommend this property to everyone. One note the thresholds are low but even our 6’4” guest adapted. Great for a family or large group. Lots to entertain the youngsters."

"Excellent information regarding access to the villa and it’s resources. Very impressed with how well equipped the villa is with regards to everyday amenities. Really spacious with lots of different seating areas inside and out. Plenty to see and do in the area such as Tomar, Obidos and the wooden walkway at Sao Samao made easier by easy access to the motorway. Villa was very clean. Pool is a good size and a real suntrap but would have appreciated a midweek pool clean and more information on...

"Room was very big. Had a kitchen and living room and bedroom. Breakfast was decent. Had scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, ham in addition to the continental fare. Had free parking. Very close to bus station. Walkable distance to car rental area. "

"New or newly renovated hotel with all modern amenities. Rooms are chic, have good coffee and tea, as well as water which are complimentary. There is a small fridge with drinks and snacks. Bathroom has toiletries. Free parking right around the hotel. Walking distance to the main square and castle."

"This hotel was such a wonderful experience that we extended our stay for two extra nights. Plenty of secured parking at very good rates and the breakfast was easily the best we had during our two week stay. The town of Tomar was lovely with wonderful restaurants and sights. There were also lots of fun shops. A very good home base from which to visit other centrally located towns and tourist sights. Highly recommended. "
