"A group of 6 of us needed a place to stay while we visited Nac for a football game. This place was perfect for us as it offered 3 rooms and a common area. The location is great near downtown and we enjoyed our stay there. We met the owner as he was passing through the property and he was informative and helpful. We'd stay here again with a group for sure!"

"Perfect size for a small family. Very clean and cozy. The only thing that would have made it better is a bed that folds out from the couch. If your 5th occupant is a small child, the couch works out fine. If you do not have a small child it might not work for you. "

"The Lumberjack Hideaway is a gem! For me being an alumni the fact that it shares a parking lot with Butcher Boys is a super bonus! That was in no way an issue for parking at the house, there is a driveway for the house. The house is very accommodating with 3 large bedrooms and 2 full baths. It is centrally located - Butcher Boys (food), downtown (3 mins away), liquor store (30 second walk), campus (5 minutes), Kroger grocery store (4 minutes).The purple room is a nice touch with ping pong table...

"Had an excellent stay at this house. Was in town for my son’s senior football game and it was a great time. Loved the house, everything worked as specified. Would totally stay here again. I recommend it. "

"There are so many amenities in the home, even books to read! We prepared our meals, played games, walked the historic road behind the house, etc. There is even a fire pit outside in the huge yard! It was a great little vacation from home! We loved it!"

"From the well equipped kitchen to the beautiful wood floors along with the antique furnished Settings, the home was absolutely delightful. The yard was very large for our three-year-old granddaughter to play in. The location was absolutely idea and easily within walking distance to restaurants, the mall and many other things."

"The house was roomy, clean & has so much historical charm. Hardwood floors & honeycomb tile just made me so happy! The house was stocked with plenty of utensils & tableware for cooking & baking. The communication with the owners was top notch! They were super flexible with our timeframe & answered every question we had. It was a great experience!!"

"The house is old but refurbished well. All supplies in kitchen are furnished, but cooking pots & pans need to be replaced. Many spices along window sill above stove and some in cabinet. Drawers are sticky, careful not to pull all the way out or everything will fall to the floor on one. Some condiments were left in fridge which we did not use. Full jug water dispenser on stand is a nice touch! Kitchen door leads to enclosed back porch with full size washer and dryer. Fenced Back yard has table...

"We have stayed here before on trips to Nacogdoches, and it never disappoints! This year we also rented the 1bd/1bth Cottage on the property as well - it was perfect as well! Beds are comfortable, kitchen and living area are spacious for a big family, and everything is tastefully decorated. We always feel right at home. "

"Very clean & looks brand new inside. Decorated really cute! I didn’t realize it was one of 3 units within a house but that did not affect our stay at all. Just FYI, there is no W/D on-site here, that is in the listing but I didn’t think to check. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with, we had a family emergency and she allowed us extra time to leave- THANK YOU!!"
