"We were greeted by name by our hostess, Señora Domitila, as we walked up to Casa de Luna... it is quite a hike from the port with multiple stops to rest due to the altitude. Go straight up and to the right (multiple times) and ask a few people where Casa de la Luna is on the way. The hotel is beautiful with a stunning view of the lake. Our room was large and comfortable. "Great views over the lake, spacious rooms and Alpacas roaming the grounds. We had a nice stay, the rooms can be little cold as the window seals aren’t great (we were there on a windy night). It is a little further from town than I expected but a taxi to the Main Street is only 10 Bolivianos. Staff were friendly and provided detailed info about the area. "

"Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. WiFi was workable. The "curtain" was not as wide as the window, and this should be addressed. Breakfast was adequate. There are plenty of restaurants within a very short walk. I feel that I paid a fair price for our room, and so I would be happy to stay there again."

"Someone obviously put a lot of care into building this place and in cultivating the gardens and grounds, it's really lovely. The concierge, Ricardo goes above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, he's wonderful. Having said that, he's also a bit short staffed so things are a bit untidy-the gardens need attention, the lobby isn't always picked up but the beauty and tranquility of the location and the pleasant but simple rooms make it worthwhile.
