"Very nice property middle of the deserted area. I was very skeptical after reading all the reviews, but I’m glad I stayed in this hotel. Most of the reviews was done when this hotel was going thru construction period. If you’re from U.S. just book this hotel it will meet your standards. "This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. But we’ll worth it!"

"Beautiful hotel and nice staff. I do have one complain that I hope the hotel can improve on We came back late at night and tried to take a shower around 11 pm. There was no hot water and I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. It turned out that the hotel turned the hot water off. I got very cold. It is not good at a city with 3700 meter elevation."

" Stellar customer service is the hallmark of this property. Pablo, the owner’s nephew was the hotel manager and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were one of two guest rooms booked during this off season, and when I inquired about where we could find dinner, he said they could prepare some for us and what time would we like to eat? We were the only ones eating, yet he made sure he turned on the music for atmosphere. The breakfast (included with your room) was delicious....

"Great views over the lake, spacious rooms and Alpacas roaming the grounds. We had a nice stay, the rooms can be little cold as the window seals aren’t great (we were there on a windy night). It is a little further from town than I expected but a taxi to the Main Street is only 10 Bolivianos. Staff were friendly and provided detailed info about the area. "

"Bathrooms could improve a lot from adding some hooks or shelves to leave your stuff. Tje third shower was located within a toilet which is quite unhygienic and unpleasant in my opinion. The hostel does however have its charm. "
