The entrance from the main road is 2 kilometers down a rustic road that might seemed like you’re lost but just keep going till you pass the banana plantation. "We had a great stay at Hotel La Omaja! The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful view of the lake and the volcanoes. The rooms were lovely with AC, fans and hot water. It was a little difficult to access as the final stretch is all dirt roads and the driveway is very steep. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!"

"Only place on the island that locks the gates to the hotel at 8pm. Every night except one we had to climb the fence to get in to go to are room. Not late 9at night no one around it was like a prison. Nice place but was a pain in the ass and the last thing I wanted to do after a day of adventuring is climbing a fence ripping my shorts on the spikes every night. To walk around the hotel yelling to get someone to come open the gate for everyone else who could not climb the fence. "
