"The Lodge at Jaguar Reef is in a fantastic location, and the facilities are generally quite good. We have stayed at the lodge four times, each in a different room, and have found the accommodations to be fairly consistent. During this visit, however, we encountered some maintenance issues. The plunge pool in our room was not functioning, several lights throughout the room were not working, and there was some flooding due to the rain. The staff promptly addressed the lighting issue, but...

"This is an amazing home in an amazing setting. The view from the back and side decks are amazing! We were able to see life birds just relaxing in comfort. We heard howler monkeys in the distance. The house is as described and as in the picture if not better. It is large and luxurious and safe and convenient to go to Dangriga and Hopkins and Placencia."
