"I loved this property as it was in the heart of the Garifuna culture. Once you get your bearings and just smile and walk the street and beach, you find amazingly friendly people. The room was simple and functional with a large balcony overlooking the street and beach. Drums banged away until 9PM and stopped sharply. "We LOVED our little apartment. You can be part of the laid back, in town vibe on the front porch or step inside and close the curtains for privacy. On site owner is friendly and very helpful with local info. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or cook for ourselves as desired. Groceries, fruit/veggie stands are easy walking distance, safe parking, and the apartment contains everything necessary. We will definitely return!"

"I was looking for something quiet and out of the way of the major tourist areas and this was perfect! No noise, no golf carts but walking distance to everything. It was incredibly clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. The bathroom is gorgeous! I If I wasn't diving or riding my bike, I was in the hammock listening to the waves or star gazing. "This place was just as described right in the center of town. The included bikes make it easy to get to the beaches, restaurants, and most of town. Wade is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area and will guve suggestions to anything you need. The unit is clean and includes everything you need for a great stay. "The setting was beautiful. Our unit was spotlessly clean and had beautiful views. The employees were all very friendly and we had all of our needs met. My only complaint had nothing to do with the resort. The beaches are not clean. It was heartbreaking for me to walk each morning and see the amount of trash mostly plastic on all of the surrounding beaches. Maybe the resort could offer some type of incentive. A free drink in exchange for a bag of garbage. I would come back to this place but...
