"Our family of five absolutely loved our stay at the Magical Hilltop House! It is the most beautiful home and property we've stayed in. We loved the pool...there is a shallow and deep end as well as ledges you can sit on. The beds were comfortable. Lucy and Melly were very kind and helpful, and Lucy's daughter Sandy made us a delicious dinner one night. Some things I recommend are bringing your own coffee (they only had instant) and maybe bring some essential spices like salt and pepper...these things are expensive at the stores. There are small stores in the area, but we found one not too far down the road that had a lot more selection. It's called Pomona shopping mall, and it's about 10 minutes east of the house on Hummingbird Highway. We ate at Toucan Cafe, Green Hills Restaurant, and Ms. Bertha's tamales...about 10-15 minutes west of the house and had delicious food. During the day on Tuesday, an ice cream stand (ZZ's Scoop & Smiles Coffee Bar) happened to be open right next to Green Hills Restaurant...it was delicious and such a treat! On the way home from an excursion in Belmopan, we had dinner Las Palmas restaurant in Aremenia district - beautiful ambiance and delicious food! We did a couple excursions while in the jungle - Xunatunich Mayan ruins and then zip lining and cave tubing at Nohoch Che'en in one day. The other day we did the ATM cave. It was quite a drive to both, but it went by quickly because of the gorgeous views. We loved Hilltop House!"

"I can’t say enough good things about this place! The service, the food, the grounds, the adventures! We had an amazing 3 night stay here and felt so comfortable surrounded by nature. It is absolutely beautiful but what really makes this place are the people. Every single person we encountered was kind and hospitable. There were a lot of young children there during spring break and my son loved having others to play with and everyone was so patient and accepting. We loved how it felt so homey have dinner all together every night and loved every minute of our stay."

"We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff we encountered were great. It was very nice that you were able to schedule your housekeeping anytime between 8am - 8pm as to not interrupt your day. Julio was great making sure we were well cared for, whether it was a room service order, or a maintenance request, he was responsive on WhatsApps within minutes. My husband and I enjoyed a great, relaxing 5 nights at Jaguar Reef and plan on returning again in December. This was our first time in Hopkins Belize but certainly won't be our last!"

"Pelican beach resort was really wonderful and peaceful. I have nothing negative to say. The room was cleaned on time and the customer service was excellent. I will refer all my friends to this resort if their ever in dangriga."

"This was one of the most unique experiences of my life! We came to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday! The property is incredible! You are in the thickest jungle- with a creek running through the property to cool off in. The rooms have only screens- no windows. So you hear every jungle sound at night, including the howler monkeys! The staff was beyond hospitable and kind. They remembered our names and were very accommodating to our needs. They serve you breakfast and dinner with a set menu, and were even able to take my gluten allergy it to consideration. They offered transportation from the airport, for a fee, that helped ease our concerns on getting all the way there safely. We would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for adventure and something out of the ordinary! 10 out of 10 stars!! "
