"A very enjoyable and relaxing couple of days in this gorgeous spa hotel. Room was huge, bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, spa had everything I needed, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Meeting Lady Hattie was the icing on the cake! "

"Whilst on this occasion things didn’t go as planned, I still couldn’t fault the staff on the way they sorted the issue quickly and generously. It was a trip away for my birthday and everyone went out of their way to make my stay memorable for all the right reasons. Amazing food, delightful surroundings, excellent staff, couldn’t fault our stay. A special shout out and thank you to Sonia, Dan, Lucy and the lovely lady with the glasses whose name I didn’t catch who greeted us for breakfast...

"Was a nice evening with my partner, drinks at the bar are very overpriced and the bath in our room had the enamel missing which is not very hygienic. I love a bath too but wasn’t getting in that. Food was nice. "

"Really nice Hotel & Spa. Very nice spacious suite. Even though slightly dated it was very comfortable. The Spa facilities very good. Had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. Looking to stay there again at some point in the future"

"This hotel was very good, staff were excellent and the food was lovely. The place was very clean but it was really isolated and in the middle of a housing estate which meant that the pool was always full. One other thing to know the beds are incredibly hard, great if you like that but very uncomfortable if you don’t."

"Very clean hotel in general , room nicely decorated but smallish for a family , no minibar, pool again smallish but clean .had to pay to park even as a guest? Overall - nice staff , clean facilities but we wouldnt pay an on peak price to stay there "

"We booked to visit my niece who lives in Newport but just had a baby so we needed cheap and accessible. Our stay was excellent, from the welcoming staff to the excellent clean room, lovely shower and breakfast. It was an absolute pleasure. Will definitely be recommending. Thank you "

"Much nicer than the photos! Beautifully clean and cozy! Very well equipped, everything and more than you would need, washer with dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Comfy beds, beautiful linens, plenty of thick towels, nice tiled bathroom. One of the nicest cottages we’ve ever rented. They even put up a little Xmas tree for us! "
