"This was our second time as a group staying here. Had a great time as usual. Place was clean and organized. Would have liked to have the porch available to use but due to the snow understand that was not an option. Overall, great time and look forward to renting again next year. "

"We loved our stay at this chalet! It had everything we needed, was warm, cozy, and absolutely immaculate. The kids loved the sleeping loft (they called it their man cave). Views of Holimont are beautiful. The host was communicative and responded to my few questions right away. The perfect winter vacation spot!"

"I booked this cabin as an after Christmas trip for my family and our best friends' family. There were a total of 6 adults and 2 teens. Prior to the trip, I contacted the owner with a few questions and he got back to me right away each time. When we arrived, the cabin was clean, very well furnished and had everything we needed while we were there. It even had a Christmas tree and lights which made it so festive! Unfortunately, it rained while we were there so we couldn't use the sleds provided on...

"Great house, looks exactly as pictured! Hot tub was a nice touch. Only downside was we ran out of paper towels and toilet paper quickly between 8 people, so I would recommend grabbing your own from the grocery store. "

"This beautiful log chalet provided the perfect setting for our family ski vacation. The home was clean with quality linens and a well-appointed kitchen, and it was close to town and the slopes. The layout worked well for our family of 8 adults plus an infant and toddler- there was space for everyone. The hot tub was much appreciated après-ski!The host was very attentive to our needs. We would definitely recommend this lovely chalet and would stay here again on our next visit to Ellicottville."

"We had such a wonderful time at this chalet! The huge dining table with the view, kitchen and cozy living room was where we spent most of our time. It was seriously the most comfortable couch! The kids had a blast with the arcade games and we were able to enjoy the bar and hot tub at night with our friends. The town of Ellicottville was less than 5 minute drive away, which was fun to explore. Jaclyn was super helpful to work with and it was also very clean - we hope to make this an annual trip! "

"The chalet was very clean and very large! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you need. Napkins, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags etc. The bathrooms were also well stocked, more than enough towels, soap, lotion and shampoo too. Would highly recommend!"

"Beautiful cabin, accurate listing. Short drive to Ellicottville which has a lot of cool little shops and restaurants, and of course Holiday Valley Ski Resort. Why stay in a resort with just beds when you can stay in a house for the same cost?!? Very comfortable beds, and the views are amazing! Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area. Responsive hosts, 5 stars for sure! "

"This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. It was clean, cozy, and very well stocked. The view of HV slopes in the distance was beautiful. It’s super close to Holimont and HV! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after skiing!! The house had many games available and the kids loved the big table game in the basement. Wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay here again. "

"We all came up to see the eclipse. The cottage was easy to fine, had great bedrooms, a wonderful kitchen, and perfecct yard for all my grandchildren to enjoy. Our host was helpful and easy to contact for questions. We do recommend this "House by a pond" for a pleasant stay away from home."

"We stayed here for one night for a ladies weekend in the winter and the house was great for our group. Excellent condition, clean, and the interior seemed brand new. We had ample towels/blankets/pillows, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for meals. The beds were comfortable. There were towels set out on the bed for us as well as towels for the hot tub. The host gave us good local recommendations and we enjoyed a nice dinner on the lake nearby. Beautiful home! "
