"Andy, the night shift concierge did his best to accomodate all our requests, he's been super kind and professional! We expected a bit more from the staff at the breakfast area, the vegan/vegetarian options were there but the signs were difficult to understand. Plenty of non-dairy options but no chance to prepare a cappuccino (or just hot milk) with soya/oat. Amazing peanut butter, though! Very elegant and comfortable rooms with a very nice view"

"We had a great harbor, sea & mountain view from our balconied room. The room, although somewhat small, was very comfortable with very nice decor & comfortable beds. Complimentary coffee/tea & espresso in the lobby was quite a nice feature and the breakfast was over the top excellent! The hotel restaurant was surprisingly quite good as well! "From the first minutes you enter the hotel, you are surrounded by an atmosphere of attentiveness and responsiveness. The staff is sensitive and understanding of your needs and is worthy of all praise. Without any doubt, next time I will definitely stay at the Scandic hotel. "I loved the hotel overall and its location in Tromso. Unfortunately, there was no electrical outlet near the bed for my Cpap machine and I had to run a cord all across the room to use it. A trip hazard and not comfortable. "

"Great staff and excellent breakfast. Only drawback is the flat bathroom floor and the drain being the highest point in there. Water goes everywhere. Squeegee is provided, however would have preferred to not clear a flood every morning. Otherwise fantastic!"

"We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient.
