The hostel is basic and not at all fancy but its clean, functional and cheap - so very good value. Excellent buffet breakfast - with lots of variety - and very friendly - chilled staff. So for me - it gets 5*****!

Perfect for any activity in the middle of Kilpisjärvi village, close to the lake and the shop. Room was a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable.

Upea luonto ja maistuva aamupala
Huoneisto on kulunut, mutta sieltä löytyy kaikki tarvittava. Se on tilava ja siisti. Iso sauna. Korkeat kynnykset käyvät hyvästä treenistä, mutta liikuntarajoitteiselle ne ovat varmasti hankalat. Henkilökunta avulias ja ystävällinen. Ravintola teki herkullista ruokaa, aamupala oli ekstra herkullinen! Rantasaunan rannassa avautuu todella henkeäsalpaava maisema. Tämä sopii matkailijalle, jolle käy vaatimattomampi, mutta toimiva ja tilava huoneisto. Ympärillä oleva luonto on luksusta! Saana ja porot tarjoavat runsaasti Lapin eksotiikkaa.

Hyvä paikka, mutta....
Kilpisjärvellä sijainti tosi hyvä. Rantasauna ihana. Aamupala todella runsas ja ruoka oli hyvää. Mutta rakennuksen kunto on huono. Huoneen wc- ja suihkutilassa oli lattialaattojen saumat pahasti rikki ja mustia. Varmasti kosteutta rakenteissa. Aamulla allergisena olinkin aivan tukossa. Remontoikaa nyt nopeasti hieno vanha rakennus.
