"The owner was unaware of our booking as advertised by vrbo. We arrived mid afternoon at portsmouth to attend my son's university graduation, but had no where to stay. We had to take our luggage to the ceremony and carry it to different locations during the event. My two daughters and myself had no car with us and mo extra money to pay for accomodation elsewhere, or even transport to a different property. We were left stranded in a strange city with no money and no where to stay the night. Vrbo...

"Lovely home, lots of space and the backyard is very quaint. My friends and I rented this for an event happening in the area locally and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the location and overall home was. It all felt very new. My only recommendation would be to make sure if you’re from outside UK to be sure to bring your own converter adapters and note that there’s no floor length mirror (we had events to dress up for). The property manager was very quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay....

"Great house in a perfect location. Spotlessly clean and very homely didn’t feel like a holiday let. Lovely big bed and great shower. Good choice of local restaurants. The stairs could be a problem for some people and towels were very thin. My personal choice but I would really have loved a little welcome pack crisps , wine etc. overall a lovely house in a great location. Arundel is lovely. "

Alison even decorated for us, which was a lovely touch and made our stay feel extra special. Alison was very responsive before our stay in answering any questions we had, and was always available during our stay (even though it was Christmas!). The only small problem we had was regarding the oven fan which didn’t seem to be working. We did let Alison...
