"Perfect stay"

"Slightly complicated check in process with nobody on site and having to call a mobile number. However, once I was in everything was very clear. My room was up 2 very steep sets of stairs. It was compact but clean, with a small ensuite. The shower pressure was very weak unfortunately, but otherwise the room was excellent value for money. "Lovely place to stay. Room was spotless. You could tell entering the room that the couple who own the property were truly passionate about the hotel. Nice little extras like biscuits/chocolate/shampoo/shower gel. Nice selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Hotel in a nice location - 1 mile walk from train station, quiet nice area near race course, but also close to City Centre"

"Stayed one night - immaculately clean and compact room. Breakfast was wonderful and very tastefully presented. Thank you. Couple of gripes relating to weak pressure on shower and wooden bed posts which were difficult to avoid knocking one’s leg on initially. Otherwise immaculate setup with beautiful gardens and setting. Parking excellent for all guests."

"Nice stay at the Arc. Kim is a friendly host. Room was a little cold but a supplementary heater was provided which made it cosier. Recommend it for access to central Harrogate. Bars and restaurants all close by. Parking was a bit difficult and Limited to on street but limited by a permit from the establishment. "

"From checking in the staff were friendly and very polite. The breakfast was excellent, cooked fresh and to perfection with plenty of toast and coffee on tap. There was plenry of choice as well as a continental option. The room was excellent and the honesty bar is a great touch and not expensive for a late night treat or glass of wine. "

"The studio room we stayed in was lovely and cosy. Everything felt very high-end from the decor to the coffee machine. There wasn’t one thing I’d change. The free parking at the back of the building was an added bonus too. It was the perfect base to explore Harrogate Centre, 5 minute walk and you’re in the centre. Totally recommend this place and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. "
