"Our second visit to this hotel. Clean spacious room. Staff extremely polite and helpful. Food amazing both in the restaurant breakfast room. The included breakfast is the best we’ve ever had and we travel the country a lot. Would definitely recommend this hotel. We are hoping that our travels send us this way again. "

"We had a great overnight stay at The railway Inn. All staff were very accommodating & Friendly.. Definitely will stay there again on our next visit to Ipswich.. it’s only a 8 minute taxis journey to the Theatre…."

"Another review of this delight in Mendham, a very convenient and pleasant village pub well situated for anyone working in the east of Suffolk/ Norfolk. Great breakfast, great host, pleasant atmosphere, good evening meals. Very good value for money. "

"Very warm welcome, both for us humans and especially the dog (complimentary bed/treats and dog bowl for her use during the stay). Dog welcomed throughout the hotel including main restaurant. Meal at dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Warm, spotlessly clean room, well appointed, close to the bar/restaurant and had a convenient small garden space for the dog's convenience. We'll be coming back. "
