"We had a great time, the cabin had everything we needed. It was SUPER CLEAN. It smelled clean and was so cozy. The appliances were modern and we cooked all week. We felt we were miles from civilization, way up on the hill, but were only 5 minutes from town which had a few places to get whatever we needed. Meijer was only 25 minutes down the road too. "Very nicely renovated chalet!! Had all the things needed. Having access to the pool and hot tub at schuss was such a nice touch. Has a nice propane grill. Handy breeze way for boots and coats as well as washer/dryer. Everything is new and clean. Heat is plentiful although the fans were a bit annoying/hard to figure out but it’s probably user error on our part. All of the beds except for the pull out are super comfortable. "If you're looking for a wonderful lake property for a family vacation, look no further. The chalet was clean, stocked and perfect for my family with three kids. We spent hours fishing (pike, bass and tons of pan fish right off the dock) and using the pontoon boat, swimming in the lake and afternoons on the sand bar. The kids enjoyed playing all the games as well. Having access to the pool and pickleball/playground was a bonus. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day of activities....

"Beautiful home, beds/furniture were very cozy, kitchen was decently stocked with basic cooking needs. Also really enjoyed the layout of the home. The walk to the beach was across a busy road, so water access isn’t necessarily right off the property but still easy to get to. I’d say overall a great place to rent - great location!"

"This property was beautiful! So relaxing, and quiet. The chalet had everything we needed. We saw several deer while walking the trails. Carole was so nice, and helpful. She checked in with us the next day, just to make sure everything was okay. "

"When we arrived one bathroom had no toilet paper so we only had 2 rolls. The kitchen needs all new cooking pans. With family of 7 it was hard cook with 1 very old and small skillet and only 1 large pot. So kitchen needs completely updated with cookware."

"The property was wonderful! However countertop space was very limited in space. Luckily we brought a folding table and set it up in front of the sliding doors by the kitchen and that worked great! At first we were afraid of the stairs with the younger ones, BUT became accustomed very shortly after being there. All in all, a great place to stay! When they reached out to me they told me there has been issues. But we were never told that. We were told they had new plumbing in and to run all the faucets for 30 minutes. "This is a comfortable home right on the lake. Plenty of space for 3 of us and a large dog. We didn’t even use 2 of the bedrooms. Torch Lake is crystal clear and so beautiful! Chris is easy to work with and we enjoyed meeting him! We will return. "
