"Last minute booking for 1 night, as got tickets to a gig at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. Absolutely loved this hotel. Quirky, clean, comfortable and the little cocktail bar off the lobby is gorgeous. Staff all very friendly. The hotel was full, so parking wasn’t a bit of a pain. I wasn’t aware you can book parking at time of booking, so would recommend doing this. £15 a night from memory. "

"December 2024 - checking in is ‘after hours’ friendly so if you arrive early for day tripping in Cambridge you can park at the location and return to book in and collect keys later. Staff on site at time of review are on till 23:00. There is a system for later checkin. Parking and location secure. Rooms are bursting with character. Think 1920’s ‘Hercule Poirot’ panache. Heating goes off after midnight but under the covers it isn’t a problem. Bath / showers are excellent. A great location. Particularly if you want something other than the usual ‘rotating doors’ chain style faceless corporate thing - and are working to your own schedule and no one else’s. I’ll be staying again. "

"Excellent value for money. Easy pleasant stay. Modern, clean room - well designed and everything we needed. The only things that would have made the stay perfect are : - the room and breakfast rooms were on the hot stuffy side - I would like to have seen recycling bins but maybe all the waste is sorted! There was environment mention for towels. Will definitely stay again "

"Very nice big room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Dinner was great value with kids eating free. Breakfast was good qualify. All the staff seemed pleasant. Swimming pool, hot tub etc were great. "
