"Porta de Castro was a wonderful stay. The only thing is if you want quiet, the street it is located on is busy and quite a bit of honking. Didn’t bother me, popped in some ear buds at night. The breakfast and staff were amazing!!! I felt very welcomed and the staff helped me with any questions, plus lots of suggestions on what to do in the areas. Very convenient to walk to almost any place, including the train station. "

Vino is very informative and knowledgeable about his area and eager to share with you. They are always approachable and meet any need you might have. The breakfast and view was great but the season I chose to visit had 2 days of rain so I would have like to enjoy the terrace some more without the rain. Breakfast was excellent. I realized that breakfast with bacon and eggs is just an American things and the rest of the world doesn’t do that haha. I did enjoy the Sicilian style of breakfast. Would definitely go again to this place "
