"The cabin was very secure and clean. I was surprised at how tiny the entry door was! The loft has a very low ceiling and the shower head is very low making it difficult for someone tall to shower. It smelled of natural gas when we arrived and I realized some had left the gas stove burner on! Overall it was a great, cozy stay and was fine for 2 people. It had everything we needed! Would stay again!"

"The place was clean and fully stocked with all the household needs. The beds and family room furniture were comfortable. The house is well insulated with little to no road noise. The host left us a delicious cake and fresh farm eggs. A clothes line or dryer would have been nice for large beach towels. Overall we had a wonderful stay and hope to book the property again soon!"

"We went to visit family in the area and this place was so perfectly located. The cabin was spotless when we got there and very cozy to come back at the end of the day and relax. The owners are very nice wonderful people, communicated often with us to make sure the stay was going well and even gave us some veggies from their garden. "

"We had an enjoyable stay. Excellent communication with the owners, property had all we needed and more. Great location, ample parking and perfect size dock to anchor our boat to and play off of. Only con, as others mentioned, was the steep trail down to the water. Requires proper footwear and stability. Wasn’t an issue for us since we’re all adults in decent shape. We didn’t have young ones or elderly people with us."

"Great house for the weekend! fishing in the pond, kayaked from boat ramp to waterfall, hiked from property to waterfall, ate in Somerset & Columbia, comfortable bed upstairs, great views of nature. Couldnt get charcoal grill hot enough to cook the steaks with what little coals were left, kitchen window doesnt lock and upstairs bath leaks into downstairs bedroom."

"The house had plenty of room for us and our adult kids to hang out and play board games that we brought. The kitchen had all the housewares we needed, but do bring your own condiments, seasoning, salt, butter, etc. We enjoyed playing cornhole and hanging out on the deck. It was a convenient 30 minute drive to pick up our boat and jet ski rental at state docks. Thank you!"

Very quiet spot but still close to the boat ramp and town for coffee, groceries, fuel, etc. Host was very responsive before and during especially being flexible with check in/out times. Excellent AC was much appreciated in the heat. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms spread out for our large group, never ran out of hot water. Made good use of the main floor and downstairs sitting areas with a great setup downstairs with kitchenette, couches and large TV...

"Small cabin located in neighborhood close to old oil refinery (looked like one). Marina was fairly close - $5 to launch. Cabin clean. Very hot upon arriving (close to 100 degrees outside this day). Took several hours for it to get comfortable. Able to sit outside in shade comfortably until cool. Bedroom was still hot. Had to use the 2 fans provided as the fan on ceiling light didn’t work. Consider Buying your own water as water tasted funny to me. Overall had a good stay. "
